Andere Monjo
(b. 1976, Spain) is an artist and designer working with mixed media, from sculpture, to painting and photography.
She is interested in notions of fluidity and the processes of material transformations. Through experimental procedures with organic matters, she works in the space between control and accidents, conceiving art pieces and daily objects that retain traces of the process in their shape.
She is graduated from the MA Material Futures at Central Saint Martins College (London, 2009). Her work has been exhibited internationally, in Europe and the United States, in galeries such as Valerie Traan Gallery and ABC New York.
