Martina Cristofani
Martina Cristofani (1980, Italy) is a ceramist based in France and the founder of Atelier Riou. She makes porcelain everyday objects, handmade, unique and deliberately irregular, retaining the gestures’ imprints. The thinness of her production contrasts with the solidity of the final porcelain material, fired at high temperature.
Martina works for individuals, architects, chefs and restaurants. Recent collaborations include collections for French awarded chief Alexandre Mazzia and the luxury resort Domaine de Baumanière.
