Studiolow

Graduates from the Design Academy Eindhoven Héloise Charital and Ismaël Rifaï, develop a common research under the name Studiolow since 2019.

Their work lies on the border between sculpture, design and documentary research. Fascinated by movements, of bodies and objects, the duo questions the phenomena of migration and displacement through installations combining a plurality of media. Conceived as narrative objects, their sculptures and installations explore the social, political and cultural aspects associated with the materials and forms that compose them.

Their works are part of the collections of the Museum für Kunst und Gewerbe in Hamburg and have been exhibited at the Van Abbe Museum (Eindhoven, 2020), the Design Museum London (2021), Friedman Benda New York (2021).
